Asset Management and Procurement• Full Asset Cycle Management and Allocation of Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, Printers, and Cisco Phones o Managing assets within Service Now  Entering/Retiring assets in Service Now o Completing weekly spot audits in partnership with the CompuCom Team to ensure that the correct assets are assigned to individuals o Decommissioning retired/out of warranty hardware and partnering with HU Recycling for asset pickups  Removing/Destroying hard drives and preparing large cart loads of devices for recycling• Managing stock levels via Excel spreadsheets and within HBS TSS budgets o Proactively identifying when stock levels are low and placing orders for Desktops, Laptops, etc• Placing orders directly in to the Harvard Buy to Pay system to purchase hardware and ensuring that departmental budgets are properly charged• Creating Goods Receipt for items within B2P to confirm delivery• Managing the hardware standards page and ensuring it’s current with the latest hardware information o Staying current with industry hardware trends to advise group when models are changingPartnering with HBS Engineering• Work with Engineering group to order and test new computer models (in partnership with CompuCom team)• Fill out test plans with results to share and discuss with groupComputer Management• Imaging Apple and Windows computers to prepare inventory for future deployment• Removing retired systems from Active Directory and other management tools• Adding new Apple computers to the Apple School Management tool when new hardware arrivesOther Tasks• Shipping hardware/consumables directly to home based employees• Shipping boxes and pre-paid return labels to employees to return hardware• Responsibility for ensuring that Faculty assets are properly categorized/prepared for donation after departure/retirement• Twice weekly campus printer checks as part of the rotation to help support the team
