Safety is number one!Systems engineer with broad industry experience in the design, systems integration, test, and certification of aerospace products.=== Bio ===Starting with my aerospace engineering education, I was fortunate to begin my professional career at Honeywell Aerospace, which is one of the largest manufacturers of aircraft engines and avionics. My focus was on commercial and business aviation customers.From there I had the opportunity to join Jeppesen, A Boeing Company, which is an industry leader in the development of flight data software products across all market segments. I see aviation being completely transformed in the years to come. GPS, iPad's, touch displays, synthetic vision, connected cockpit, etc... have each already had a profound impact.Next I came to Gulfstream Aerospace to be able to work on the entire aircraft electrical system, for various Special Missions programs. Gulfstream is a world class engineering team. During 2020 and 2021 I supported the Space Launch System (SLS) program at Marshall Space Flight Center. I operated at the customer/government level within the systems engineering and interfaces org.In 2022 I had the chance to move into the Part 121 arena and join another world class engineering team while working to deliver a state of the art product to market.Skills:--- Hardware/Software Development Life Cycle.--- Hardware/Software FAA Type Cert and equipment TSO authorization --- "Agile" (iterative development)/ SAFE/Scrum Master/Continuous Improvement--- Working directly with customers - Requirements Derivation, ICD documentation, user stories, use case development, operations concepts (CONOPS). --- Testing (flight test, simulator, laboratory).--- Regulatory Compliance - FAA, Transport Canada, EASA, EUROCONTROL: DO-178 / DO-254 / 14 CFR Part 91,121,135 operating rules / Part 25 airworthiness / EU-OPS.--- Verification and Validation (V&V), test readiness, generating test plans, and execution.--- All manners of technical presentations and audit compliance.--- Mentoring junior engineers.--- Extensive supplier management and oversight
