• Established import compliance operating system and improved site import compliance rating from 2.3 out of 5 (failing) to 4.2 out of 5 (compliant) in less than one year• Updated Customs classifications for 1500 Honeywell Tempe parts based on engineering drawings and descriptions to bring site into compliance and established new procedures to ensure consistency on future classifications• Led sub team of three people on the Corporate Customs Brokerage Bid Project Team that developed the quote review process which identified brokers that were statistical outliers and eliminated them from consideration• Identified and recovered $25,000 worth of incorrect billings from Customs broker during the first week of employment, issued corrective actions and updated the SOP to prevent future mistakes

• Compiled MRO spend over three US plants, identified and analyzed supplier mix, targeted areas of improvement, developed a category strategy• Measured total affected spend at $7M and projected 10% savings leading to $700,000 cost reduction• Chose beta test category of electrical components and invited four vendors to participate in a reverse auction using Ariba Enterprise Sourcing at the Plainfield plant.
