Web DeveloperFreightliner Jun 2004 - Aug 2005Portland, Oregon AreaDeveloped for the website portion of a Truck Point-Of-Sale system. ASP based interface, VB6 and C# middle-tier, SQL or DB2 databases, and web services. The web UI used ASP, HTML, CSS, and Java and VB Scripting. The middle tier contained heavy and somewhat dynamic business logic. My biggest accomplishment on this project was to turn what was a patchwork of a half dozen small apps by successive programmers into a manageable, connected and coherent series of apps. Made much more use of CSS to give all the apps the same look and reduced the size of the codebase by half by creating central libraries. -
