Kurt M. Richards is a Physician Assistant with the Grossman Burn Centers. Though he is based out of the Grossman Burn Center in West Hills, California, he also travels to the GBC satellites in Bakersfield, California and Kansas City, Missouri to see patients and assist in the operating room. He has been treating acute and reconstructive burn patients for over 17 years. He received his Physician Certification from Western University of Health Sciences and his Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences. He is board certified by The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Kurt began his career with a surgical group based out of the San Bernardino County hospital, a level two trauma facility in California. During his time there he was involved with the treatment of burn, trauma, and general surgery patients. In 2003 he had the good fortune of joining world renowned burn surgeons A. Richard and Peter Grossman at the Grossman Burn Center in Sherman Oaks. Over the past 13 years Kurt’s burn skills and knowledge base have continued to grow under the guidance of the expert surgeons at the Grossman Burn Center. He is an ACLS, PALS and ABLS provider, as well as being an ABLS National Faculty Member. He is involved in teaching ABLS both in California as well as in Missouri. He has contributed to research publications and has been a burn consultant for two prime time television series. He also lectures extensively across the United States on a wide range of burn related topics.BURN INJURY?
