About Kurt Sandholtz

I'm passionate about communicating complex ideas in simple, memorable ways. I'm lucky to have numerous outlets for this passion: 1. In my research, which explores how occupations and professions emerge and evolve. 2. In the classroom, where I teach courses on organizational behavior, creativity, and communication.3. In executive education and consulting, where I help individuals and teams provide more effective and innovative leadership.I came to academia after a 20-year career, first in journalism then in management consulting. I love every aspect of my work and I'm grateful to be surrounded by supportive colleagues who are much smarter than I.
