Directs growth and impact across all functional areas. Negotiated contracts with federal, state, county, and municipal governments to expand facilities and enhance wrap-around services to Veterans in need. Increased housing programs from one to seven and developed funding lines from two to thirty-two. Began state-funded programs for long-term offenders, providing treatment in prison and housing upon parole. Developing $78M in new housing projects so Monterey will obtain the VA goal of "functional zero," where no Veteran is forced to live on the streets. Lightfighter Village will be a 71-unit housing complex for low income Veterans;. The Monterey Enhanced Use Lease will be a complex consisting of 40-units of housing and a Veteran Services Center of Excellence, both on a 99-year property lease from the federal government. Added a limited liability company to the organization, the Last Chance Mercantile, to meet county sustainability goals and provide jobs for Veterans. Directs a staff of fifty and a budget of over $7M.
