Developed environmental testing and functional test procedures to meet schedule constraints and customer requirements

-Developed and executed test plan and test procedures for optical testing of flight sensor subassemblies, including focus and calibration in a clean room environment. Recovered over 1 month of program schedule-Executed successful component hardware spaceflight worthiness testing, including vacuum thermal cycle, shock, vibration and EMC. Successful completion of testing unlocked the next phase of program funding-Designed, analyzed and built mechanical ground support equipment to support Kestrel flight payload integration. Tasks included 3D modeling, structural analysis, mechanical drawings and procedures for use with flight hardware -Designed prototype and flight deployable solar arrays for rapid experimental flight program

-Mechanical Subsystem Lead. Performed trade studies for propulsion and structural components, developed system ICD, system specifications and maintained CAD model for bus design. Presented at SRR, leading to award of follow-on program-Responsible Design Engineer. Designed and built hardware to control propellant flow rate and pressure for CubeSat propulsion concept.
