Account Management & Opportunity Generation: Lead efforts in managing assigned book of business covering the Upper Northwest region (MN, ND, SD). I am a Quality Control Technician for the Pilot Plant. Validate and check to make sure different processes are making the materials to specification desired by the customer. Using a variety of instruments to measure material, like a TA Discovery Hybrid Rheometer to perform Rheology testing on products, Instron Tension Testing to measure tensile testing. Karl Fisher Moisture Analysis to find the percent of water in liquids or solids, FT-IR to find out what a material consist of and the properties it has. Also performed Color testing using a Hunter Lab Ultra Scan Pro to measure color in the L,A, and B scale. Trained to use a Smart Scope Zip 250 to obtain optical 3D measurements, Vacuum Expansion testing in order to measure the percent of material loss under vacuum, and using a Brookfield Viscosity system. Also work on a variety of process/ web lines and Compounding.

I serviced and maintained equipment like skid loaders, and other various small engines on the rental equipment at Bobcat of Brookings. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix machines. I also collect the trash, sweep and power wash equipment off.

Responsibilities:Used both AC and Hydraulic dynamometer systems to test production and prototype machines. All test preformed on these Dynos required me to install instrumentation like thermal couples and flow meters as required per test standard in order to measure data. Multiple test where performed using the Dynos like collecting airflow distribution of different cooling packages. Hot testing which helped determine at what temperature would the turbo system start a fire if any of the fluids got on the turbo. Dosing tip testing on the tier 4 prototype models to make sure the temperature seen at the tip was within the manufacturers range. Testing on problems that where encountered during production paint line process and what affects it created if any it had on the drive system. Also used an Edaq system to collect on hose burst test, Incline test on a tilt table. Had to think of ways to perform a test on power bobtach manifolds in order to run them a specified amount of times using a hydraulic pump stand. I also performed cold weather testing on new models and different brands of batteries and starters. After hours I would perform shakedown on new machines before they where shipped to a different area for mining operating testing to make sure they did not leak from the factory. Had to write and compile reports on findings and how the test was performed so someone else could recreate the test.

Milked cows and operated and maintained farm equipment.

I was responsible for checking trailers to make sure they where in the right location and every 30 minutes update how full each trailer was. Managed 12 employees and was responsible for recording there hours worked. During belt operation I would observe my belt and employees to make sure proper egress and lifting techniques where being used. I would also perform daily safety audits on a employee and discuss what they did correct and what they should work on. At the end of the shift I would ensure that every package was placed in its proper truck and my area was clean and ready for the next shift to resume work.
