Kurt Swogger had a 37 year career at The Dow Chemical Company with the balance as part of Research and Development related to plastics and materials. He was the research leader for polyolefins and later plastics focused on new products and process that have generated billions of dollars for Dow such as improved Ziploc bags, polymers used for food packaging such as salad bags, used of injection molding such as Crock's shoes, used as parts of cars used in bumpers and a and a host of other applications. After leaving Dow he focused on using carbon nanotubes in a variety of applicaitons.Founding BioPact Cellular Transport, Inc. (BCT) and serving as its CEO is challenging and exciting because BCT's technology can be a key link to improving cellular and tissue medicine. Our product, MGMR can convey to cells and to tissues a wide variety of bioactive agents that change cell chemistry to generate anti-bodies that fight against diseases such as cancer. MGMR does not harm cells or genetics and experimental data shows it will slowly be removed from the body. Because it is able to carry a large variety of agents with little modification, it is a much simpler and lower cost method to enable the new wave of cellular treatments being developed by many pharmaceutical and biologic companies and other entities. MGMR is part of a wider range of product families used for varied applications such as batteries, tires, 3D printing and coatings being commercialized by the parent company Molecular Rebar Design, LLC.
