Being in the industry for so long, Kurt has held a variety of different roles within the bank, primarily working with lending and branch operations. He started his banking career as Branch Manager in Cohasset in 1993, and has experienced vast industry changes over the course of his 30 years. All of this has prepared him for the opportunity to lead as Bank President. Known for his ability to partner with small businesses and help them succeed, Kurt’s passion is demystifying and simplifying the financial side of his client’s business. He acts as a true guide, preparing all the tools his clients will need along their financial journey as he helps them navigate to the summit of each life goal with integrity and honesty. Kurt’s passionate about walking side by side with his clients throughout their journey. As President, he is excited to work with all departments within the bank and continue to grow the Woodland Bank presence within the communities it serves. For him, the Woodland Bank and Nicklason family have solidified a culture of service to customers and communities, and he is proud to be a part of that. Beyond his leadership role at Woodland Bank, Kurt is passionate about the Cohasset Fire and Rescue department, having spent 28 years with them. In his down time, you will find Kurt giving back to the public, spending time with family and enjoying everyday life. A true outdoorsman, you’ll frequently find Kurt hunting, gardening & living the cabin life.
