As the Global Human Resources Business Partner at CDM Smith, Kurt supports the International Services Unit that operates in six continents and delivers engineering and construction solutions for water, environment, transportation, energy, and facilities projects. He holds a Master of Human Resource Management from Colorado State University Global and a SHRM Certified Professional credential.With over seven years of experience in the A/E/C industry, Kurt has developed competencies in succession planning, talent acquisition, oral communication, and close quarters combat. He is passionate about bridging the gap between technical professionals and employers, especially for veterans. In 2021, he launched CDM Smith's Veteran Career Reboot program, the first of its kind in the sector, in collaboration with iRelaunch, a pioneer in career reentry. He also contributes to the Water Environment & Technology magazine as an author and advocate for workforce development.
