Clients partner with FreightWise to leverage our carrier volume, technology, and industry knowledge to reduce transportation costs over 20% in most cases. We are not a carrier or a broker that buys freight and then marks it up 15% to 20% to their clients. Our goal is the opposite: hard dollar freight savings and performance improvement.Our Focus includes Parcel, Less Than Truckload (LTL), Truckload, and International freight modes.Current Responsibilities:- Heavy focus on daily prospecting, making dozens of calls each day, emails,mailers, trade shows, etc..- Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potentialaccounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technicalinformation and explanations.- Answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries; verifying and enteringinformation and data about clients.- Develops accounts by checking customers buying history; suggestingrelated and new items; explaining benefits and features.- Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participatingin educational opportunities. - Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownershipfor accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities toadd value to job accomplishments.
