Responsible for coordinating all aspects of recruiting and evaluating candidates for Continental Tire. Interview, screen, and recruit salaried job applicants to fill positions in the Mt. Vernon plant. Schedule and coordinate the applicant process; handle travel arrangements; assure proper reference checks, education verification, and background checks are conducted. Evaluate resumes and credentials to determine if candidate's knowledge, skills and experience are suitable for the position and that they meet the requirements. Prescreen candidates to see if they are a good match. Develop interview process with Continental's managers and be involved in all interviews with the manager present. Interview all candidates using behavioral based techniques. Meet with managers regularly to better understand the position and the requirements. Coordinate college recruiting initiatives. Attend career fairs to recruit potential applicants and increase exposure to opportunities at Continental Tire.
