I have gained extensive experience in local government infrastructure asset management over the last 12 years. Between August 2018 and September 2020, I recruited and trained a new team of Asset and GIS technical staff in delivering Snowy Valleys Council's operational objectives. One particular achievement is the financial reconciliation of both former (Tumut and Tumbarumba) Council's asset registers, including policy, procedure and third-party audit. In September 2020, I relocated to Coffs Harbour to lead and train a team of skilled Asset Officers in developing Coffs Harbour City Council's strategic asset management system. In 2021 I acted as the Section Leader for Asset Strategies role (direct superior) for 6 months and received a Pursuit of Excellence (peer-voted) performance award for the year of 2021. Recently (November 2022) I left my dream job to challenge myself in the private industry with Australis Asset Advisory Group. Consulting is something I always pictured myself doing and with fear, excitement and some encouragement from peers; I jumped at the opportunity.
