I an engineer with over ten years of engineering experience in a chemical fertilizer facility. Primary experience is in project engineering, project management, facility optimization, while also being the department lead engineer reporting to the engineering manager.My primary role at the facility was as a senior project engineer. During the execution of projects, I became extensively familiar with equipment and was involved in the facility long term developmental plans. I am familiar with evaluating long term company goals and identifying paths forward to accomplish those goals. The role also involved writing clear and concise reports to stakeholders and upper management, to ensure transparency and compliance with requests. As a project engineer, I supervised the contractors onsite to ensure compliance with finished product requirements, safety, security, and environmental compliance. As a project engineer I have experience with Air Board, Water Board, Cal OSHA, and City government agency permitting. I have extensive drafting experience in AutoCAD, AutoCAD P&ID, and Solidworks. Additionally, I have experience in finite element modeling for both structural beam analysis and fluid flow analysis. FEA experienced utilized IES Visual Analysis and AutoCAD Fusion 360 programs.I was the lead engineer for the decommissioning of the Lathrop Chemical fertilizer facility during its closure. Assisting with demolition permitting, designing temporary fall support systems, and identifying at risk equipment/structures necessary for demolition prior to closure. I was responsible for the safe decommissioning of the phosphoric acid system onsite. Additionally I was the lead for the identification and reconciliation of all facility assets with corporate accounting. This was performed to ensure proper asset management prior to closure.
