Currently in the Charlotte region and oversee the North Carolina and Tennessee Building Systems Group; Messer's group of mechanical and electrical engineering experts. Our BSG Engineers assist the client in developing owner project requirements (OPR) and a commissioning plan in the Planning phase. Through the Design phase we will verify the basis of design, conduct a design review and develop commissioning specifications. During the Construction phase, we will make site visits, evaluating the progress of the work and verify the quality of installation of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems. Finally, we will validate functional testing, present a systems manual, assist in developing a training syllabus, evaluate the effectiveness of owner training, and ensure the client is fully trained to operate and maintain the MEP systems. We bring in-house costing, constructability reviews, equipment and systems validation, and other measurable efficiencies to a project. We partner with Architects, Design Engineers and Subcontractors to ensure owner's project’s goals are met and the MEP systems give the best performance at the best value and will function as designed .I'm a LEED AP BD+C. Messer employs over 50 LEED-Accredited Professionals who understand the United States Green Building Council’s (USGBC) standards and practices for building high-performing, energy-efficient, sustainable buildings. I'm a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and a Qualified Commissioning Process Provider (QCxP).
