I grew up in our Taxi/Limousine family-run business following in my parents' footsteps carrying on the vision my father had for this industry. We didn't invent the taxi business but it is our goal to make it better. With over 900 yellow taxis, 50 luxury vehicles and a full range of courier/warehousing trucks, our transportation business has changed Calgary's landscape. We pride ourselves on keeping up with technology and listening to our customers. It is The Checker Transportation Group's mission to provide the best customer service, whether you take a taxi, use a sedan or need a hotshot across Canada.When Anderson Vacation wanted to partner with a reputable company, they contacted Ambassador Limousine Services, a division of The Checker Transportation Group. We now facilitate guided tours to Drumheller and the Badlands, as well as a Heritage and History Southern Alberta Day Tour.With over 120 staff and 1,400 drivers we give back to the community working with many local and Canadian charities. Most recently, we partnered with HomeFront Calgary bringing awareness to domestic violence in Calgary. We have worked with Calgary Flames Foundation, Calgary School Patrol, Calgary Drop In Centre, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Calgary Emergency Women's Shelter and many more.
