I am a driven and enthusiastic individual always looking for a challenge and opportunity to learn and lead. I have a chemical engineering degree from the University of Cincinnati (graduated in 2009) and an MBA from University of Phoenix Online (graduated in 2015). I started my career in supply chain and more specifically production / process / improvement / project engineering. I have worked for Dow Chemical, Firestone Building Products (a division of Bridgestone), and now ScottsMiracle-Gro. While at Dow Chemical I held a variety of positions from process engineering through improvement engineering, always looking for opportunities to streamline processes. I joined Firestone Building Products as a process / project engineer where I received a black belt in six sigma through significant manufacturing process optimization efforts. I began work at ScottsMiracle-Gro in 2015 as a process/project engineer at the manufacturing facility located in Marysville, OH. While at the plant I was responsible for finding opportunities to drive savings and implementing the projects to close the gaps (capital and non-capital). After two years (during that time I received my MBA) I moved onto the business side of operations and joined the indirect procurement team as a senior buyer optimizing capital and parts processes. I entered into the IT organization in 2019 as a Global Process Manager and have lead programs and projects within cybersecurity, Robotic Process Automation, Project Management Organization restructuring, and a number of other areas throughout the organization. I believe my background in project management, process improvements, change management, and my excitement/drive for innovation could greatly contribute to any team's success.
