I have served in the Army National Guard for 13 years, with 9 Years of my service as a Team Leader. My responsibilities include making sure my team understands what is expected of them and supervising the execution of the plans to complete objectives. While acting as a Team Leader, I have regularly been put in situations which required me to perform at levels above my position and have no problem doing so. I have served as Military Police for my entire length of service while maintaining a secret security clearance and have served honorably. I regularly am assigned classes to prepare and teach to fellow soldiers requiring the use of PowerPoint presentations and Excel. Commendations I have received are: Army Achievement Medal, Illinois Attendance Ribbon (x2), NCO Professional Development Ribbon and The Reserve Components Achievement Medal. I have worked in manufacturing for 8 years in multiple departments while employed at Masterbrand Cabinets in Arthur, IL. My responsibilities have included maintaining pace on my line while, maintaining quality standards. I have been a machine operator on multiple systems and have had positions using handheld power tools. I have worked alongside maintenance employees repairing equipment used in the production of cabinetry. My customer service experience can be attributed to the 5 years combined working in customer focused positions for Walmart, Cater-vend and Rural King. While working for Rural King as the full time Tire Technician it was my responsibility to order specific tires from suppliers, stock tire inventory, handle tire installation schedules, answer all tire related phone calls and handle tire installations. I regularly organized and maintained shop cleanliness to improve efficiency of tire installations. I am eager to expand my skillset, I am a very fast learner, I am a team player, I am dependable and I am not afraid of hard work
