As a Private Placement Analyst, I’m part of the Investment Operations and Accounting Operations value stream within NN Group Finance. These value streams are responsible for the accounting book of records (ABOR) data delivery of the Insurance Assets within NN Group. As a team, we are responsible for the Month End Closing, and NAV activities, and have the orchestrator role for these key investment operations processes within FSCIn my role, I work closely with both Dutch and International NN Insurance entities, The Investment Office, Corporate Treasury, Group Risk, NNIP, and Group Finance to deliver accurate, consistent, timely, and high-quality asset data regarding the NN Group Insurance Assets. Other responsibilities include;1. Ensure alignment between the investment manager and administrator related to bilateral loans2. Ensure high-quality data is received from the external investment manager and ensure proper document management and version control of all information received3. Address findings or inconsistencies found in received information or responses regarding breaks in reconciliations4. Ensure that new transactions are logged in time, correctly, and accurately (i.e. setting up new financial instruments in ABOR, initiating changes on existing loans, overseeing loan-related fees and legal matters, etc.) on SimCorp Dimension5. Oversee high maintenance loans to ensure smooth ongoing business, ensuring correct application to the internal Accounting system for both new entries and ongoing loan lifecycle events.
