Kurt is a veteran Art Director, Graphic & Web Designer and Illustrator. A Skilled, experienced and versatile graphics professional with over 40 years (holy cats!) experience in print, publishing, marketing, promotions, web design, production, and training. He has produced projects ranging from brochures, logos, magazine designs, book illustrations to media kits and web sites. This broad range of skills and stylistic approach enables him to execute client’s projects from concept to finished production art.Over a diverse career in the industry, he has accumulated skills in Art Direction, Illustration, Graphic Design, Digital Art, Electronic Publishing, Web Design, Photography and Audio/Video Production. He has worked as freelance and as a staff artist, working both solo and with creative teams and workgroups. Having learned his craft in the murky prehistory prior to desktop publishing, he therefore possesses both traditional and digital studio skills. He's called himself a “grizzled veteran of the desktop publishing wars."Kurt has a BFA with honors in Graphic Design and Illustration from Pratt Institute. Raised in Brooklyn, NY, he moved with his family to Rockland Country in 2001. Kurt established Fantastic Realities Studio as a versatile source for seasoned and professional design solutions. In 2014, reasoning he could work anywhere with a roof, electricity and a broadband ‘Net connection, he relocated his home and Studio to the artistic enclave of Berkeley Springs, in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.
