OCEC is a legacy project developing a state of the art facility to the highest international standards and is the first phase of a multi billion dollar development for the Omani tourism board. Designed as a LEED project achieving a gold rating with a scope that includes exhibition halls, 8,000 meal/day kitchen, a multi-storey car park for 4,500 cars and the requisite supporting programme. The fast track programme requires fully coordinated documentation for a timely completion.

INDEX Interior Design Exhibition - "Virtual Versatility - A Contemporary Majlis"... a selected competition entry to construct a temporary room installation and custom furniture design. The furniture is currently under design development and prototyping prior to production in Dubai for high end commercial and residential interiors or configured with robust finishes for the extreme regional weather specifically for use in exterior installations.

This leadership role requires the review of the delivery team material and drawing submittals, mock ups, coordination with specialty contractors supplying the scope for Facades and Landscaping while ensuring that the design intent is adhered to. A typical day is defined with problem solving and coordination issues clarifying outstanding queries and direct interaction with client's rep, project managers and the delivery team.

Senior Project manager on a signature 7* luxury high rise tower at Raha Beach development (on hold) and the landmark F1 Yas Marina hotel. Responsibilities included submittal review, client interface, project coordination with speciality consultants as part of the site based management team and ensuring that fast track schedules were adhered to.

I was present at the office when Prof. Hollein was awarded architecture's most prestigious Pritzker Prize. Primary focus was on the blockbuster show "Dream and Reality" integrating the display design with priceless artefacts from the semminal historical period in Vienna of Klimt, Loos, Wittgenstein und Strauss.
