• As the Digital BI Consultant with McDonald’s Canada, I played a key role in driving the overall strategy and performance for the Digital portfolio (Loyalty and Delivery). My responsibilities include:
• Analyzing planned marketing initiatives to predict / optimize business impact.
• Building out projections and forecasts for both the Loyalty and Delivery programs, forecasting out 1, 3 and 5 years to help drive the growth of the portfolio.

• Responsible for driving strategy and spend for 230 stores across Canada; managed vendor base of 40+ vendors across North America, Europe and Asia and buying counterparts from four global buying offices.
• Developed pre-season strategy and financial plans using data analysis (sales data, margin analysis, customer trends), and secondary competitive research.
• Regularly negotiated purchases and deals with vendor brand reps up to company presidents to ensure strong margins.

• Lead strategy preparation and presentation for a team of six buyers.
• Built strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the right merchandise is secured at strong margins, and that product is shipped to the right stores at the right time.

• Forecasted category sales and inventory plans 1, 3, and 6 months out for the Gourmet Food department ($120M annual revenue). Presented forecasts and inventory plans to Divisional/Senior Vice Presidents weekly and.

• Created weekly shipping strategies for product allocation within the Bedding department by leveraging sales analysis, inventory optimization, store volumes and market demographics using Excel.
• Identified and executed on business opportunities by analyzing sales trends, researching market trends and collaborating with buyers to ensure the merchandise strategy was effectively executed.
