Over the past couple year years I have been building my skills towards a career in the trades. Over the course of my program at Conestoga College, I have a clear goal in mind. That goal is to pursue a career as both an electrician and millwright through the development of my mechanical skills and electrical techniques that I have grown a passion for in my program- Electro-Mechanical Maintenance.My ability to wire and troubleshoot electrical systems allows me to complete tasks on time and ensure the accuracy and functionality of these systems. Along with my electrical skills, I am confident in my ability to program robots to perform specific tasks with accuracy.Through the mechanical skills I have acquired, I can perform tasks such as reading and creating blueprints then manufacturing the parts with precision. I have also developed the ability to work as a team and adapt to changing circumstances that can arrive in an industrial work environment.My timeliness, organization skills, willingness to learn, and the ability to work alone or as a team would prove to be beneficial in any industrial maintenance setting.
