As a CEA at TD Canada Trust, I was required to operate a variety of different systems while simultaneously engaging with customers. This experienced progressed into overseeing and helping train new CEAs. I worked in a customer-facing team environment that demonstrates my problem solving and critical thinking abilities. I also had weekly and monthly coaching meetings with my direct manager and I took action to implement advice immediately.

In this role I would undertake an analysis of securities for the club’s fund. I then used my analysis to create and present a proposal for the security to the fund. I also worked with other analysts on team proposals. In addition, I would run analyst meetings.

This administrative role saw me further develop proper governance for the club and strive to make the proposal process more efficient. As well, I would remain in constant communication with the fund manager, analysts, and the university’s accounting department to track the fund’s performance.

This position required a high degree of collaboration with other club executives such as the VP of Marketing and VP of Finance to organize and execute events. Notably, I created and organized The Affiliate-Alumni Social Dinner by working with the Huron BMOS club and the King’s BMOS club.
