I am proud to make a positive impact on the Oregon Special Olympics by coordinating awards ceremonies at state games and the Special Olympics competition itself. Some of my key accomplishments included:♦ Headed the planning and deployment of an innovative performance-based metric tracking system that encompassed the entire Adult Mental Health Initiative to aid in tracking of hired contractors. ♦ Managed all distribution and tracking for a $12.5M budget.♦ Personally rekindled previously adversarial contractor relations by employing exceptional communication and instilling an atmosphere of collaboration.

I was pulled back from this rotation back to my position as a business analyst due to staffing shortages on the IE/ME Project.

During my time as the interim director of recreation specialists, I held the authority of managing all business aspects of the hiring process and disciplinary actions and grievances. I was able to drastically boost employee effectiveness by coordinating and leading a staff teambuilding and conflict resolution training course. Relying heavily on effective communication and collaboration with all parties, I worked closely with executives to improve the quality of the Rehabilitation Services Leadership Team and the Harbors Program Executive Team. Transitioning from my Lean leader role and back into a recreation therapist position, I began to lead program planning on unit-based treatment and treatment mall programming in addition to handling managerial duties including budget preparation and tracking. I conducted frequent clinical assessments, interventions, and group facilitations and ensured that all documentation was completed with the highest level of professionalism. Some of my key accomplishments included:♦ Headed annual staff training and information courses and collaborated on a daily basis with the ward psychologist, social worker, and psychiatrist.♦ Program managed the therapeutic recreation program and regularly monitored client treatment care plan progress.
