Having been the Lead Engineer on several major projects for ConvergeOne over the past several years, I have taken a position with my company as Microsoft Team Lead. I have added Microsoft Teams Voice migrations to my skill sets. From Microsoft Calling Plans to Direct Routing as a Service to designing global direct routing infrastructure, Teams Voice has become a major factor in my growth as a consultative engineer. I continue to diversify my ability to deliver excellence in Microsoft technologies by staying current in my previous skill areas: Identity and Security, Azure Governance, Microsoft Datacenter and Infrastructure, M365 deployment, migration & maturity, and endpoint management via Microsoft Endpoint Manager, integrating Configuration Manager and Intune for a comprehensive endpoint management solution.I am used to a fast paced self-learning cycle that consists of study, lab, deploy with mentor, deploy solo, and then mentor a deployment. This model allows me to come quickly up to speed on new Microsoft technologies and the changes that are rolling out monthly. I think of it as the "Watch one, do one, teach one" paradigm applied to Microsoft technologies. As you can see, I am a huge Microsoft advocate. My number one goal is to help our customers utilize their Microsoft licensing to the fullest extent possible.

I was the senior consultant at Onsite Logic. Onsite Logic is the IT department for companies who do not staff their own. We design, implement, administer and troubleshoot networks for small businesses. My specialty areas are Exchange Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Network Design, and VoIP.

During this time, I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration: Management and Leadership and started on my Masters in Healthcare Administration. I worked for KU Family Practice, The Heart Clinic, Higginsville Habilitation Center for the Mentally Handicapped, Baptist Medical Cardiology (Dr. Joseph Lemlek), Research Psychiatric Center and Truman Medical Center. I experienced, first-hand, the for-profit shift in the healthcare marketplace. After down-sizing, consolidation, loss of funding, and faced with an increasingly unstable marketplace, I re-educated myself and changed careers. It was one of my better decisions in life.

In the rough market of in-home sales, I found a career and a product I could believe in. I worked with a wonderful group of people and mastered "the art of closing the sale". I was asked to start training and took in a management role and eventually opened my own company. While the company did not last, the experience, drive, skills and desire to succeed remain. I am one of very few technical engineers with this valuable skill set.
