In addition to my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, I am also completing my Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering as well as an MBA at Brigham Young University. Why would I do that to myself, some may ask?In short, I LOVE what I am learning. I am passionate about combining the technical and creative problem-solving approach from engineering with the analytical and data-driven processes that influence business decisions and create strategies that win. For the last two years, I have been involved in the BYU Biomechanics Lab as a Research Assistant developing a novel HealthTech product for knee rehabilitation, the Smart Sleeve. As I led a team of 10+ engineers, coders, statisticians, and exercise scientists during the design and testing phase of the product, I realized that I enjoyed having ownership of the whole project, coordinating teams, and leveraging the skills of team members just as much as I enjoyed being in the finer details as an engineer. Thus, my desire to pursue Product Management as a career was born!MY GOAL:To bring my skills as an engineer and manager to a product management internship role.
