I have always set the trajectory for my career with an eye on success, maintaining high standards, taking on challenges and pursuing personal growth. My agricultural background, sales management background and construction site supervisor experience all came together for the career opportunities I have enjoyed. For the past 20+ years I have performed site inspections, identified safety concerns, determined scope of work requirements for requested actions as well as selling additional elements and/or work, developing material and machinery requirements, budgeting projects, bidding contracts, scheduling production, procurement and work itineraries, coordinating with subcontractors and other contractors, organizing crew and work site, on-site overseeing of all projects - all to deliver to my client the highest quality, on-time, on or under-budget project exceeding their expectations.In addition, I serve as the liason between my company and our clients. I strive to build relationships with key contacts, as well as with upper management and assistants, in order to keep them informed of progress and addressing any needs or requirements either of us may need, working also with the client to ensure the safety of both my crew and the public while enjoying the reward of producing a finished product that leaves my client feeling they recieved a professional job from not only a professional crew and company, but from friends.My present career tuned many skills of mine. Often being the last contractor on site before opening, I have operated under tight time lines, with extreme pressure, encountering and overcoming unforeseen often new obstacles with a constant need for improvising and thinking outside the box, and with crew members being asked to "learn on the fly."I love the challenges any job can bring me as it gives me the opportunity to explore new tools to meet those challenges, and avenues of using my critical thinking skills to reach a new level of achievement.
