Throughout my career, I have built and led high-performing teams that have developed new technologies or delivered new products and services, improved internal business processes, or implemented productivity improvements that have yielded hundreds of millions of dollars in cost-out while providing a competitive edge.Most recently as Vice President & General Manager at Belcan, I was recruited to improve operational performance, manage P&L and lead a team of 1,500 employees in 10 states. Previously in progressive engineering leadership roles at GE, I was repeatedly selected to lead teams on business-critical challenges. My expertise spans starting up new global organizations, turning around under-performing teams, or solving problems that others failed to do - paving the way for continued business success. ➤ As leader of globally dispersed teams…I’ve provided cross-functional leadership of as many as 1,500 people - developing or revitalizing and engaging teams by helping them understand and appreciate their role and value to the business, and thereby grow their influence and impact.➤ As engineer and technology/product developer … I’m well versed in new product development and design and in manufacturing. While at GE, my engineering teams supported commercial, military, marine and industrial fleets, including some of the largest and most successful engine programs in history. Named as co-inventor on 6 U.S. patents.➤ As quality improvement champion … Whether the development, design or manufacturing process was too slow, complex or labor intensive, or was just not working well, I demonstrated a passion for driving continuous improvements through lean principles and Six Sigma.
