After becoming a claims adjuster right out of college I tried for years to get out of insurance but, like most insurance people, I learned that once you get into insurance you can’t get out and I eventually gave in to my inner insurance loving self. Really, it’s not the insurance that I love but connecting with people and learning about them, their job or business and what they are excited about. This is what led me to start RVA Insurance Agency, Inc. The original idea of insurance was based on us coming together as a community and everyone giving a little bit to take care of others going through a bad time but over the years it has turned into an industry that most view as negative and greedy but a necessary evil.
