I am currently working as an Engineering Manager for the Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP) projects. Under this role, my responsibilities range from helping the thirteenth developers that report to me with engineering, design, and implementation to working closely with the project managers and business analysts to guide them in making the best decision for their projects. Worked as the Technical Lead for a Department of Defense contract that helps military spouses find education and career opportunities. As the Technical Lead, I help guide the project from a technical perspective as well as working on features as a member of a scrum team. I would work very closely with the DoD leadership and the project manager to ensure both of their visions would be executed to the best of the team's ability. I also coached the other four developers in various aspects of their job. I would run most of the Scrum ceremonies and took pride in creating new ways to run our retrospectives each sprint. At the end of my time as a team lead, I pushed the team to rebuild the entire application to keep it up-to-date with the newest framework.

My duty was a .NET Web developer on a project for the U.S. ARMY, on this project I led the development of the Web Risk Management System, an Army-created software solution. I was Responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of the .NET web application. I was also performing my duties as a Staff Sergeant and the Squad leader of my Platoon. These duties included running daily physical training, and managing six soldiers.

Worked on a contract for State Department supporting application passports. Performed application support utilizing SQL Server. Top-level knowledge of the 5 major software projects that are developed by Apptis. Worked to resolve all issues by doing research using SQL Analyzer, reading error messages that were generated by the software, and looking into the systems that the Software is deployed to. Lead the deployment of software upgrades for 27 different passport agencies. Helped train the new helpdesk team members and document procedures.

Was stationed in Arifjan, Kuwait where I worked on and maintained computerized remote control-type radios daily. Some of my responsibilities included managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting several types of these systems when called upon. I was tasked with being in charge of a major command center communicating with all levels of security personnel in the busiest seaport in Kuwait.

Worked with a team of 4 to help manage over 150 Windows 2000/ XP workstations supporting 200+ users Managed, implemented, and organized work plans for desktop upgrades and configurations. Maintained and set Group Policies in Active Directory for clients within the county school system. Maintained local network accounts using Active Directory Managed, migrated, supported, and managed troubleshooting in MS Outlook and Office 2000 and 2003.
