Accomplishments as follows:Treasury* Refinanced $300 million global, 10-bank syndicated credit agreement reducing volatility to the P&L and to provide funding access and optimal rates to US, EMEA, Australian and Malaysian entities. Negotiated credit agreement with creditors and reduced intercompany foreign exchange exposure with local financing.* Set the Foreign Exchange Hedging Strategy saving $500,000 managing 13 foreign currencies and establishing hedging programs. Used software systems (FireApps, 360T) to assess risk and minimize exposure.* Spearheaded the implementation of a global Treasury Management System maximizing global control over cash daily and established a pan-European cash concentration pool gaining highest interest income and liquidity possible.Corporate Development* Developed the acquisition strategy and process working with third-party consultants, marketing and the business unit leaders. * Drove A. Schulman through its acquisition strategy in 2010 to win the Association for Corporate Growth’s Deal-Maker of the Year award by leading the global due diligence and closings of 3 very diverse strategic acquisitions in that year. Completed 6 acquisitions and 1 JV during tenure.* Integrated the complex treasury operations, insurance portfolios, and budget planning processes of a $230 million global acquisition, 5 smaller regional acquisitions, including ones in Brazil and France, and a JV in Argentina. These transactions increased revenues $350 million and EBITDA $40 million.Insurance Risk Management* Saved $550,000 by transforming insurance risk management program including developing carrier and broker relations, global risk control enhancements, and created a risk committee. Selected new brokers for property & casualty lines and executive risk lines.

* Established new global budget & forecasting consolidation process by eliminating sources of spreadsheet errors, controlling global inputs, and improving communication with global FP&A teams. Used Hyperion Software.* Controller for the Invision Business Unit. Managed expenses tightly during shutdown process.* Introduced EVA and ROIC performance metrics and rolled out a global educational program to enforce those metrics.* Redeveloped the capital expenditure approval process to include risk-adjusted hurdle rates which were country and project specific.
