Using ReactJS and Laravel to update, implement, and create new tools to support CheckPeople.com. Along with implementing new processes to better manage the team and helping with recruiting and hiring. Used Cucumber and Selenium for Behavior-Driven Development tests.

As Technical Director, I was in-charge of the Back-End Engineers as well as the Front-End Developers. Making sure everyone in the production floor was following technical standards and creating new standards as we moved forward. Delegating several leadership responsibilities to my team leads and holding them accountable for the quality of work produced by their teams. Held weekly meetings with the Backend teams to make sure they communicated and shared their knowledge across the team. Held weekly dev leadership meetings to properly stay informed about the teams progress. Involved in high-level estimation and planning meetings as well as scheduling and resource allocations.

Collaborate with the Project Management, Design, Front End Development, and Back End Development teams in order to implement better processes and more cohesion. Am in charge of making the Front End Development team learn and implement new technologies as well as standardizing the code styles between the UK and US teams. Interact with the Sales and Project Management departments in order to create accurate timelines and estimates for future work.

As Design Studio Manager, I work with the Project Management team in order to scope out projects properly and make sure that we are inline with the base contracts. I also make sure that we are using up-to-date and relevant technical standards on a per project basis. At the same time implement and enforcing better workflow processes throughout the studio and making sure all projects get delivered on time and up to our high level of standards.
