Experienced manager with more that 25 years of management background including management of other managers.Besides line management I have worked with project management as well as product- and functional management.My experience within IT goes back more than 35 years and covers responsibility for both development and operations as well as security.I am a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and have knowledge about the ISO27000 framework and about ITIL.I have managed projects with internal as well as external resources and have a good awareness about the risk and benefits by using external resources. In ROCKWOOL International A/S I have had responsibility for several projects Among those are:• Several big IT procurement projects• Phase one of the first Group SAP implementation.• New IT infrastructure for the whole Group covering more than 4.500 users in 50 locationsI am very focused on keeping the projects small and well defined and I consider projects running more than 9 months as very risky. It is one of my strengths that I am not afraid of saying ‘no’ to the line organisation if requirements can not be justified with benefits or can jeopardise the ongoing operation or projects.I have also in a period successfully managed all IT procurement and vendor management for ROCKWOOL and obtained considerable savings on among others the software license contracts for Microsoft and SAP software,Generally I am very systematic, logic thinking and good at keeping overview of many simultaneous activities. I am considered very open minded and uses this together with my good overview to coach my staff in their daily work. I believe in appreciative management and that my most important role as leader is to create the right environment for my staff for them to fulfill their job.
