My focus is to provide our team with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to achieve their personal/professional goals beyond football. We do this by conducting bi-weekly player meetings that ensure student-athletes are developing desirable social & emotional intelligence skills, identifying and exploring career goals, and learning high-level life, time, and money management skills, which propel our student-athletes towards becoming self-reliant. In this role I am responsible for educating, planning, and implementing an effective career readiness programming, serving as a positive peer influence and role model for all football student-athletes, and curating a four-year comprehensive Life Skills development program. This program is intended to ensure that football student-athletes maximize the benefit of being a part of the Michigan State University network which includes over 600,000 living alumni.We believe that the student-athlete experience must include a pathway to leadership in companies, communities, and in our player's homes.
