I am responsible for identifying and applying for appropriate grant funding and for managing delivery of these grant funded projects. I have been involved in successful applications for both UK and EU funding through the InnovateUK SMART scheme (Proof of Market, Proof of Concept and Development of Prototype) and Horizon 2020 programme as well as other smaller funding awards.

As a specialist in applying for, and managing, grant funded projects, I provide assistance with identifying and securing access to the grant funding required to develop and commercialise your latest ideas.

Developing and introducing project management best practice through business process re-engineering and the introduction of advanced project management information technology.

My main role in this position was to create cutting schedule programs and additional orders for the laser cutting machines that cut the steel parts used in the Permoid manufacturing process, this involved me working to tight deadlines and being able to follow instructions efficiently. It also demonstrated my ability to learn new software quickly.I was also required to convert technical drawings using CAD software so that they could be modelled and put into cutting schedules.I learned some of how an engineering office operates and I also learned how to use new computer software.
