Manage and execute all geologic analysis needed to assess solicited and unsolicited deals in the A&D market for a start-up, private equity backed company. Create and analyze regional geologic property maps, depositional environment models, and geologic risk models across most of the onshore US basins for delineated plays and new exploration concepts. Closely combine geologic analysis with engineering data in a well-integrated multi-disciplinary team to value assets of interest. Propose potential bids to senior management and equity partners ahead of bid deadlines for approval. Over 29 months the team has screened 166 deals, analyzed 118 deals, and proposed offers on 32 deals averaging 950MM in value per deal.Basins and plays analyzed include: Permian Basin – Midland Basin (Sprayberry/Wolfcamp), Delaware Basin (Bone Springs/Wolfcamp), and Central Basin Platform (exploration), DJ Basin (Niobrara), Powder River Basin (Niobrara/Mowry), Gulf Coast Basin (Eagle Ford/Haynesville), Williston Basin (Bakken), Appalachian Basin (Marcellus/Utica), Green River Basin (Lance/Fort Union), Uinta Basin (Green River/Wasatch), NW Shelf, Anadarko Basin (Meramec/Woodford), San Joaquin Basin (Monterey).
