I am excited to announce that after working extensively within the Home building industry, I have launched my own company "Environmental Planning and Design". The goal of my practice will be to provide practical solutions to community development and design. I bring to the market place a unique perspective to the design and entitlement process. I have blended together my abilities as a recognized Landscape Architect with the experience of working for 3 national builders and one of Chicago's most respected regional builders,Lakewood Homes. I know what it takes to create designs that are not only marketable but also cost effective. The following is a brief review of my experience.I began my carrier as a consulting planner, providing design solutions for my clients developing property throughout the Chicago suburban market. In addition I also helped the Chicago suburbs of Carol Stream, Bolingbrook, Orland Park, Montgomery and Dwight Illinois develop comprehensive city plans, zoning ordinances, and subdivision regulations. My real estate experience is national in scope. In Texas I was responsible for directing planning, engineering, and entitlements for a 4000 acre new town known as the Villages of Mountain Creek. This community was among the largest annexations to the city of Dallas. In the Chicago market, I managed land acquisition, planning and development for Town & Country Homes. I also served as the Chicago Regional Manager for both Ryland and Pasquinelli Homes. My efforts resulted in the creation of over 20,000 home sites in Chicago, Orlando, and the Minneapolis markets. I Joined Lakewood Homes in 1999 and served as Sr. Vice President of Forward Planning. I was responsible for land acquisition, community design, and entitlements, I helped create more than 14,000 home sites throughout the Chicago region.I am a Registered Landscape Architect and have served as a board member of the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago.
