Micah Kurtz is the President of Oak Hill Academy, bringing over 15 years of experience in administration, education and sports performance training. A nationally recognized and award-winning strength and conditioning coach, Micah is known for his innovative approaches and dedication to empowering all to become the best at getting better. Before joining Oak Hill Academy, Micah served as the Assistant Athletics Director and Director of Sports Performance at Windermere Preparatory School. In this role, he oversaw the physical development and wellness of the entire student body and athletic program, implementing cutting-edge training methods and fostering a culture of excellence.Micah's mission extends beyond traditional coaching. As the founder and president of The Athlete Maker, a consulting and training company, he works with various sports organizations and individuals to improve their character and performance. His passion for sharing knowledge is evident through his speaking engagements and writing as he has been a featured speaker at across the United State, the U.K., China and Mexico. Micah is not new to Oak Hill, as he served as the strength and conditioning consultant coach for the 9-time high school basketball national champions for the past 14 years. His commitment to excellence has earned him multiple certifications and honors, including National Coach of the Year in 2016 and State Coach of the Year in 2013, 2014, 2020 and 2021.As President of Oak Hill Academy, Micah Kurtz is dedicated to fostering an environment of excellence, ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.
