A Team Leader for the Large Corporates vertical for the state of Karnataka where I manage a team overseeing a book-size of INR 2,200 Crs across companies/business groups in sectors such as EPC, Education, Healthcare, Real Estate and Hospitality. • Client acquisition and Portfolio management are key in this leadership role and my main deliverable is to increase returns by engaging with companies/business groups for growing the loan book and cross-selling various products within transaction banking (trade/cash), treasury and investment banking. • Role also encompasses portfolio management that includes close monitoring of loan portfolio by regular analysis of borrower’s operational and financial performance; monitoring trends and developments in focus sectors.• Engaging with internal stakeholders including top management, risk and product teams. I continue to develop a strong external network by engaging with technical consultants, rating agencies, lawyers, key suppliers/vendors and also with other lenders for syndication/joint-underwriting.Key achievements• In my current role, I manage a team and have built an incremental loan book of INR 2,200 Crs• Marquee transactions handled include INR 550 Crs as long-term project finance for factory construction/working capital for an EPC; brownfield finance ~INR 135 Crs in Education sector in Bangalore; project finance ~INR 110 Crs across two hotels in Kerala.

• Part of the Infrastructure Finance vertical for the state of Karnataka where I have initiated and executed deals cumulating to INR 1,200 Crs with companies/business groups with presence in sectors such as Ports, Power, Aviation, Logistics and Defence. • Client acquisition is my main deliverable by engaging with companies/business groups for growing the loan book and cross-selling various products.• Critical Role also encompasses portfolio management that includes close monitoring of loan portfolio by regular analysis of borrower’s operational and financial performance; monitoring trends and developments in focus sectors within infrastructure.Key achievements• In my current role, I manage a team and have built an incremental loan book of INR 1,200 Crs• Marquee deals worked on include INR 600 Crs as long-term project finance for port infrastructure at Tamil Nadu; long-term project finance cumulating to INR 550 Crs for two wind power projects in Gujarat and Karnataka.

• From August 2013, I have been part of the Infrastructure Finance team focusing on engaging with companies/business groups with presence in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Metro, Roads, Ports, Shipping and Power. The key deliverable was financial and industry analysis where I completed due diligence on projects of ~INR 3,000 Crs through financial analysis of borrower; project risk analysis vide project reports/information memorandum/tender document; preparation of memos and documentation for internal approval from bank’s leadership team. • Between March 2010 to August 2013, I was a Corporate Relationship Manager for mid-corporate business group (i.e. corporates with annual turnover up to INR 1,000 Crs) for over two years across Mumbai, Goa and Nashik regions of Maharashtra. The role encompassed client acquisition and management of mid-corporates and cross selling products to increase wallet share by engaging with product partners such as corporate finance, transaction banking (trade/cash), treasury and investment banking.Key achievements• In my role in the Infrastructure Finance team, i managed a loan book size of INR 4,000 Crs across 3 large business groups. • Marquee deals worked on include INR 500 Crs (working capital credit) for a ship building facility at Chennai; INR 500 Crs (bond issuance) for a transmission line in Karnataka and INR 250 Crs (bond issuance) for a metro rail-line in Hyderabad

• Worked at Standard Chartered’s most active trade services office in India and developed skills in operations by managing and servicing a diverse portfolio of clients covering various sectors. Key role also included process management and collaborating with other international offices in handling cross border deals.• Worked in Standard Chartered’s Hong Kong office for a product development assignment and partnered with various cross functional and international teams to design and develop the bank’s digitization initiative for trade products that was launched across 30 countries. Championed this cause for India by rolling out multiple product launches over 18 months.

• Since Jul 2004, I worked at the trade finance central unit at Mumbai and gained in-depth knowledge of various trade products (import and export) governed by accepted practices set by the International Chamber of Commerce. Role included rotation across various departments handling products such as Letter of Credits, Bank Guarantees, Collection documents and related divisions including foreign exchange trading and operations.• Joined as part the Management Traineeship program and was initially posted in Kochi, Kerala where I was involved in credit analysis of plantation projects and priority sector funding.
