During my youth soccer days, I kept track of each shot, pass, and goal, while also analyzing teammates' playstyles to enhance team performance. This early interest in analytics has evolved into a broader perspective, influencing how I approach challenges and opportunities in both academic and professional settings.This lifelong passion for data led me to pursue a B.S. in Business Administration with a Statistics minor, where I developed my leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills to tackle complex business problems using data. In my final semester, I used R to analyze a dataset on layoffs to advise job seekers. I identified which locations and industries were most susceptible to layoffs and visualized this data to provide valuable insights to my classmates. Additionally, I interned at Stanley Black & Decker, where I optimized pricing strategies and product offerings by conducting a margin analysis using years of Excel data.Now I am pursuing my Master's in Analytics at NCSU's Institute for Advanced Analytics to dive deeper into statistical methods and practices, with the goal of working in a data-driven role. I am excited to further develop my Python, R, SQL, and Tableau skills as well as expand my knowledge of machine learning to solve real-world problems.Aside from data, I enjoy soccer, traveling, video games, and the outdoors.
