On a mission to create awesome apps that enhance productivity and provide services that make life easier. Currently focused on building a platform to make apps development process more efficient and effective, along with a couple of high-impact initiatives in healthcare and education space.

– Convinced the management to adopt a cross-platform mobile applications development approach using React Native. Instituted the core architecture and best practices and led the development effort.– Managed offshore development teams and facilitated interaction with the management and the backend teams in the US.– Worked with internal clients and stakeholders to deliver multiple health care professionals as well as patients focused Android and iOS applications.

– Mentored junior team members and helped improve stability and performance of the Wixi Android app.– Helped with internationalization and localization as well as white-labeling of Wixi Android and iOS apps. Automated parts of the process using Python scripts.

– Spearheaded an effort to deliver a redesigned version of one of the core Android apps on the Clover payments platform in a very short period of time so as to meet the launch schedule for an upcoming device.– Demonstrated a cross-platform version of the above app implemented using React Native.

– Lead architect and developer for the content management applications on Android-based Nook reader/tablet. Designed and implemented the core Library app on Nook from the ground up.– Redesigned the data model and download/sync components for the original Nook e-reader to address integrity and stability issues and improve performance.

– Lead developer on the Mobile Server team, in charge of ensuring a flexible and extensible architecture for the server component of Mobile Personal Assistant, a travel application for BlackBerry devices.– Effected significant design and implementation changes and delivered new features.

– Lead developer on the User Interface XML (UIX) – a J2EE-based web applications framework employed by Oracle E-Business Suite applications – maintenance team.– Managed UIX patch set and one-off delivery and ensured speedy defect resolutions.

– Instrumental in delivering the Change Assistant, a Swing application deployed via Java Web Start that allows JD Edwards EnterpriseOne customers to efficiently analyze, download and manage software updates.– Designed and implemented core Change Assistant features and functionality: HTTP authentication and state management, partial content request and handling, advanced search, pre-configured and custom queries for enhanced productivity, simultaneous downloads and error recovery, analytics, etc.

– Worked with other team members to create tools to enhance the enterprise software upgrade process.– Employed core Java, XML and database technologies along with C and JNI to build a variety of tools to verify minimum technical requirements for installing JD Edwards OneWorld, to deliver database changes via software updates, to enable performing impact analysis of a software update prior to installation, etc.
