Growing up in a region where development projects brought significant improvements to daily life, I was inspired to pursue a career that could contribute to such transformative changes. This passion led me to earn a 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬) 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. My academic journey laid a solid foundation in the principles of civil engineering, with a particular emphasis on water resources management. This knowledge has been the backbone of my professional career, spanning over four years, where I have successfully combined technical expertise with hands-on experience in project management. From supervising the construction of large-scale infrastructure projects like 1000m³ water towers to managing the installation of extensive HDPE/DI pipelines, I have consistently delivered high-quality engineering solutions that meet both budgetary and timeline constraints. My proactive approach in using advanced tools like Civil 3D and WaterGEMs has allowed me to improve project feasibility, optimise design accuracy, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Here are some of my 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:🥇 Supervised the construction of a 1000m3 water tower and HDPE/DI pipe installation, successfully completing the project 7% under budget.🥇Managed the installation of 50km of HDPE/DI pipes and construction of a salinity barrier, completing the project 2 weeks ahead of schedule.🥇Reviewed and approved technical drawings and structural plans, ensuring 100% compliance with design specifications and regulatory standardsMy skill set extends across a broad spectrum of industry-standard software and tools, including AutoCAD, Primavera P6, MS Project, Advanced Excel, and Power BI.
