Capital Projects Risk Management Specialist
CurrentCurrently working as a Risk Specialist at Infrastructure Ontario, working on Ontario Place Program and projects, and Justice Projects for Risk Management. The responsibilities include:• Providing technical support to the management of project risk through the facilitation of regular risk workshops at the project and program level, with Project Delivery Teams, External Consultants and Ministry (Ministry of Infrastructure, Solicitor General - SOLGEN) • Maintaining risk registers at the project and program level • Performing quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis using risk management software (e.g. Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis, Acumen Risk, etc.) and provide the interpretation of analysis results (e.g. Distribution S Curve Graph, Sensitivity Analysis Tornado Chart) • Organizing risk training materials and train the team on the principle of Risk Management • Managing risks in SharePoint, PMIS Software – Kahua and Risk management Software Active Risk Manager (ARM) for ongoing Risk Impact analysis• Managing detailed project and program risk reports including P50 and P80 cost and schedule risk exposures • Following up with risk owners to ensure the mitigation actions are on track • Ensuring that all program team members comply with the risk management plan, procedures, and requirements of the assigned scope of work • Reviewing contractors' progress reports and identify the risks impacting project cost and schedule and reflect them in the risk register, while working closely with team members and stakeholders • Liaise with scheduling to prepare high-level schedules (or assess detailed schedules) for quantitative schedule risk analysis and define the link between risks, duration uncertainties, and schedule activities
