About Kent Vensland, Pmp

I am project manager and instructional designer and would love to connect with people who believe in the same theories and applications of those theories that I do. I believe in a systems approach to performance improvement utilizing the HPT model as put forth by ISPI. I also believe that training and workforce development should be managed as projects. To this end I strive to keep myself aware of current trends and to continuously improve my knowledge of performance improvement and project management strategies. One way I do this is by being a current member of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) and of the Project Management Institute (PMI). I Graduated in December 2017 from the Learning Design and Technology Program at Purdue University. I am also an alumni of the Old Dominion University Bachelor of Science program in Occupational and Technical Studies with a Training Specialist emphasis and a minor in Psychology. I have a current PMP credential and have been an OSHA authorized 10/30 hour trainer since 2012.
