With 15 years of leadership experience in nonprofit & enterprise operations, my expertise spans strategic, administrative, and fiscal direction, building progressive organizational cultures, and fostering high-performing teams. The overall mission of my career thus far has been to advance equitable solutions to the climate crisis and other intersectional issues of our time, with a particular focus in my home state of California. In my free time, I invest in studying and participating in holistic health and community-building practices. Since 2013, I have maintained a Yoga instruction practice serving elders, corporate teams, and athletes. Through research and mentorship, I’ve learned an inordinate amount about nutritional science and our local food scene in LA. And one of my greatest personal passions is traveling and treading lightly in new countries as a means to learn more about people, culture, and cuisine. I’ve lived in a few eco-villages and also devoted significant time to building cross-generational community in the urban context. As past President of the Venice Heritage Foundation, I led an incredible grassroots volunteer team to establish the Venice Heritage Museum, the first-ever institution to preserve and celebrate the diverse heritage and history of my hometown of Venice, CA — opened in March 2024.
