I'm took a year off with my family to get to know our extended family in Ireland and put our dual citizenship to work. The kids attended school, we've traveled to 11 European/UK countries, and I got a fresh perspective on what matters, honed my voice over skills, and kept my chops up with some independent writing on topics I don't usually cover at work. This year away was invaluable to me and my family. I'm now back in the bay area, refreshed, and ready for new projects.
