I have over 39 years of experience across functions , geographies and Industries , orchestrating multi-talented and diverse teams to execute future-ready strategies and navigating complex challenges. I have worked in leadership positions across the FMCG , Food and Beverages , Confectionary , Electronics , Appliances , Consumer Durables , Telecom , Broadband and Food Processing Startups. I have been in various General Management and Leadership roles for over 27 years of my working career and have successfully managed P&L roles in these industries. I have developed and implemented strategic plans for growing the business, planned and built infrastructure, expanded markets, and developed and launched “new to market” products successfully. I have led the formation of a new FDI driven joint venture in Food processing in India . This has been a very valuable exposure to going through the license and approval formalities , registering a company in India , preparing the DPR's for all approvals , getting approval for acquisition of land for a manufacturing facility , obtaining all the necessary license approvals for a Consent to Establish , raising funds from Banks both in India and Overseas banking institutions . Obtaining an EPCG license to get a 100 % duty waiver on manufacturing equipment imports and building a commodity supply chain over 4 -5 years to feed the processing unit have also been critical experiences.I understand quite well the value proposition of a product to the customer and hence to the business. I set high standards for all the teams I interact with, and break these standards down to smaller and simpler targets to be achieved within aggressive time frames. I am capable of macro management, in analytically understanding the opportunity within and outside the industry. I am recognized for my strategic thinking skills, for driving results, and for a high level of rigor and commitment to the role. As a forward thinker I have the ability to accelerate change and culture transformation. I am happy to announce that I am pursuing my ICF certification and look forward to work with and coach aspiring leaders. As a Coach, I will help executives in leadership roles, across industries, maximize their potential and help set them up for success.
